The 41st World Diamond Congress (WDC) marks a historic return to Singapore from 12–15 July 2026, convening for the first time in the city-state since the landmark 24th edition in 1988. As the diamond industry’s most significant global gathering, held biennially by the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB) and the International Diamond Manufacturers Association (IDMA), this prestigious “Diamond Davos” brings together top leadership — from miners and manufacturers to traders and retailers — to address the evolving challenges of the trade.
The 2026 Congress will be hosted at the PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, serving as the centerpiece of the inaugural Singapore Diamond & Jewellery Week. In a powerful industry synergy, the Congress is strategically aligned with the Singapore International Jewelry Expo (SIJE), held concurrently at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre. This unique dual-venue dynamic allows delegates to engage in high-level strategic discussions on African leadership, ethical sourcing, and the expansion of Asian consumer markets, while providing seamless access to over USD $250 million in exceptional gemstones just across the bay.
